Facilities
AET has the premier repair facility in the Pacific Northwest. With expert machinists, circuit breaker technicians, and field test engineers, there is literally no problem that we cannot solve.
Inventory
AET has the access to nearly 200,000 square feet of electrical equipment and parts. If you know there is a problem with a piece of electrical equipment, tell us. We'll come to the maintenance shutdown prepared to do the repair.
Skill
AET maintains ground fault systems, transformers, vacuum circuit breakers, SF6 circuit breakers, electro-mechanical relays, microprocessor based relays, variable speed drives, tap changers, cables, generators, motors, motor control centers, switchboards, panel boards, molded case circuit breakers, control systems, switchgear, grounding systems, and more.
Common tests we provide include transformer oil sampling, transformer turns ratio, high current injection, secondary injection, protective relay calibration, ground fault system tests, insulation power factor, contact resistance, high potential testing (HIPOT), thermographic surveys (infrared scan), and more.

AET maintenance tests are performed to:

All testing is performed using equipment that is calibrated and traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
